We are a small but growing
evangelical Church with a strong commitment to serving the local community
and beyond, within the Sheffield South Circuit of the Sheffield District of
the Methodist Church. Hollinsend Methodist Church is
on Hollinsend Road in South East Sheffield, S12 2EF. Our Sunday services start at 10.30am and
there is also an occasional service of Holy Communion at 9.30am. On the third Sunday of every month at
3.00pm is our healing service, called the Healing Touch. For more details

called Reflections, a fresh expression of worship, where we can take time out
and relax in God’s presence. You can

here The Church may be considered to be
a gathered Church as several members do not live local to the church, passing
several other churches to get to Hollinsend.
Some of them grew up in the area and had parents who were very active
in the church, they attended Sunday School and youth club and either stayed
with the Church or returned here. For
other members it is their first experience of church life.
Services are generally relaxed
with many led by our own worship leaders up to a point where visiting
preachers take over. Music is a mix of
recorded, organ and guitar, often within the same service. Worship is
enhanced by projected words, photos and artwork. The worship area of the Church
is on three levels. At the front of the
church on the top tier of the worship area there is a large movable screen
which separates the church from the hall.
Off the main hall is the vestry which is also used as a small meeting
room and a corridor takes you to the kitchen, toilets and two more
